Rustic Letterpress Business Card
I have the pleasure of working with an amazing team at Rustic Creative in Waterloo, Ontario. (New site coming soon!) The owner Steve has assembled some of the city’s greatest talents and together we have been knocking out some really awesome work. Anything from iPad apps to print, we do it all. This was just a simple project but a step towards creating our own identity, really capturing the spirit of the company. Craftsman in our own way, a team of hard-working designers and marketers who don’t take ourselves too serious.
I just want to take a minute to share my great experience I had with Logos Graphics from San Francisco. They were the ones that did the letterpress and screen printing on this business card. Impeccable work, and quick service. They were eager to send over samples so we can decide what kind of paper stock we wanted to use, as well as some different printing processes they used. The chipboard we ended up using was perfect and after seeing the samples, we decided to screen print part of the writing. Again, they were wonderful and I highly recommend them.
Flourish Florals Branding
I’ve been so busy lately with the new gig that I haven’t had a chance to upload anything on my blog lately but I am excited to be working with a previous client of mine Flourish Florals on refresh of her current site which I designed about a year and a bit ago. I always wanted to post it on here but didn’t get around to it but I definitely want to showcase what I think to be a cutting edge web design for a florist. Pam Salisbury from Flourish is extremely talented and doing well for herself. Her work is what I consider to be the next level of floral design, the haute couture of Kitchener-Waterloo region if I may. I worked with her on a few photo shoots for my invitation company OOXX Invitations. I hope to continue working with her in the future! She has proven to be a great individual to stay connected with in the community. Follow her on twitter here.
